The Blackhawk Museum exceeded our expectations. The first floor houses the car showroom which was exhilarating, spotless, and classy. They had a phenomenal selection of old US and foreign cars in restored exceptional condition. Also on the first floor was an exhibit of beautiful African art, carvings, oil on canvas, and sculptures.
The second floor contained artifacts and memorobilia of America's obsession of the West in the 1950's. There's quite a collection there!
It's a nice museum with lots of displays of cars here. I really liked the museum.
Looked up car museums and found this Awesome museum that my Family & I enjoyed!! We will be back!!
One of the top Wedding / Reception Venues in the USA. Very good ambience full of vintage and unique cars. Very good exteriors etc , the fountain outside is just outstanding. A must visit.
and the impact on the Native Americans and current US. What I especially enjoyed was the visual timeline. The museum used a massive diorama with captions to illustrate the movement.
It's ok. Not as good as used to be - they removed the car store on the first floor, where they used to sell the nicest car replicas. Instead they replaced it with some African art exhibit - with masks and animals. Nice, but I miss the store! Also, added some Chinese bells collection.
The cost to get into the museum was affordable or very reasonable: $15 for adults and $10 for students. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
They have three stories and each floor has something different.
The third floor contained artifacts and timelines of the expansion of the West
